The French 75 is a classic gin cocktail with champagne that is perfect for a light brunch.

• 1 oz gin
• 3 oz champagne
• 0.5 oz simple syrup
• 0.5 oz lemon juice

• Add all ingredients, save the champagne, to a shaker with ice and shake
• Strain into a champagne glass
• Top with the champagne
• Garnish with a lemon twist
